Zaragossa III

1986

Norma Hecker

Mixed media

165 x 228 cm

Zaragossa III is representative of Norma Hecker's work in textiles. The long shapes and curves undulate like seaweed, overlapping like the layers that make up the earth's surface. For this unique example, the wool, woven by the artist herself, was specially coloured and spun in the south (Hérault).
