How to view the Collection's new exhibition

Jean-François Chougnet was given carte blanche to produce an unprecedented amalgam of the art collections of both Societe Generale and its subsidiary Société Générale Maroc.
Societe Generale alludes to the European cultural capital of Marseille-Provence 2013 by appointing Jean-François Chougnet,CEO of MP13, as exhibition curator for the latest installation of its Contemporary Art Collection on the theme of: "The Mediterranean is more than a geographic region".
Jean-François Chougnet has focused the exhibition on two themes relating to the issue of masculine and feminine: the first considers "Matters of identity", and the second will cover "Figures of the world".
Among the artists who are part of the Societe Generale Collection, the curator has selected emblematic works by Farah Atassi, Kader Attia, Bruno Barbey, Fouad Bellamine, Marie Bovo, Jordi Colomer, Danica Dakic, Valérie Fabre, Shai Kremer, Sigalit Landau, Javier Perez, Aleix Plademunt, Benjamin Sabatier and Claude Viallat.
From the Société Générale Maroc Collection, he is exhibiting works by Brahim Benkirane, Hicham Benohoud and Safâa Erruas alongside pieces by Layla Essaydi (photo), Nadja Mehadji and Lamia Naji.
