Garden tools, fruit and high art in the same installation? This is Dimitrijevic's genius. The "Triptycos Post Historicus" series represents the harmony between the object and the work of art and raises questions about chance and relativity by casting doubt on conventional hierarchy.

"The language of art has become more complex. If you take the pallet of a traditional painter, such as Matisse, he had colours such as red, green and yellow. On my pallet I have paintings, sculptures, fridges and bicycles. I believe that this type of process was already in evidence in literature and philosophy." Braco Dimitrijevic

Braco Dimitrijevic: a unique creator of history who deftly plays on a conceptual artistic vocabulary.
After excelling at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and the St Martin’s School of Art in London, Braco began early on to display the "invisible ties" between people and places, objects and art. He invented the concept of "post historicity" and sees the past as an immense playing field of possibilities.
