The works in the “Space monochrome” series are more about the emptiness of the spaces than the spaces themselves: everything is desolate, the floorboards almost fall out of the frame and the ends of the walls disappear in a white haze. His photos sometimes border on the abstract and resemble a painting in their texture and colours: he uses picture-editing software and a cloning technique to reproduce the same density as brushstrokes.
