Each year, the Collection is enriched with new artworks that reflect the vitality and diversity of contemporary creation. This selection confirms its international outlook, while continuing its commitment to supporting the French art scene.
Among this year’s acquisitions is Labyrinthe by Eva Jospin. A major figure on the contemporary French art scene, the artist has developed a distinctive world where architecture, landscape and imagination come together, inviting viewers on a contemplative journey of discovery.
North America is represented by Khalif Tahir Thompson, Barbara Kasten and David Gilbert. Works by the latter two are on display in Société Générale’s New York offices but can also be discovered at La Défense through reproductions.
The Collection also welcomes works by two Indian artists, Gauri Gill and Viswanadhan, reflecting the Group’s presence in India.
The European art scene is notably represented by Polish artist Wilhelm Sasnal.
At the same time, the Collection continues its commitment to French artists whose practices have gained international recognition, including Camille Henrot, Jean Jullien, Jean-Baptiste Bernadet and Thomas Devaux.
Finally, Christelle Téa’s sensitive perspective on architectural and cultural heritage occupies a distinctive place within this selection.
