The artist's technique is quite conventional: oil painting. The pictorial references to primitive Italian painting, reinforced by a stay in the Villa Medici in Rome, added delicate but bold chromatic harmony to his work.

In his first paintings presented in 1982, browns and red-browns dominate in light and dark contrasts, and feature tormented figures, as in the famous Shroud of Turin.
In the ten years that followed, his paintings became lighter and the figures disappeared. The artist's technique is quite conventional: oil painting. The pictorial references to primitive Italian painting, reinforced by a stay in the Villa Medici in Rome, added delicate but bold chromatic harmony to his work.
