The almost obsessive repetition of patterns, some figurative, making reference to certain paintings such as Velasquez Las Meninas, or the profile of Lorenzo de Medici, together make up a busy space in which the eye wanders about and often gets lost.

Born in 1950
After studying at the National Fine Arts School in Paris, in 1979 Brière received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture. One of her paintings was then bought in 1980 by the National Fund for Contemporary Art. She continued to make art outside the usual network of art galleries.
