All of Christophe Cuzin's works follow the same approach of taking a given space and creating a dialogue between paint, light, colour, architecture and volume. Christophe Cuzin works within a system of limitations adopted in 1986, in other words he uses identical formats (185 x 135cm), symmetrical drawings and lines 13cm wide, combined with mat building paint. He adapts these elements at the venues where he exhibits, viewing the space and its architecture as frameworks for his media. The limitation of space is in this way overcome by the autonomy of the artist, who creates new formal relationships within it.
