Erik Binder's work is a reaction to his surrounding environment. For him, art is an open platform, a playground where the rules emerge during the game. His projects always concern mass culture, its heroes and its scapegoats.

Lives and works in Bratislava.
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Erik Binder first became known when he took part in the 2003 Biennale in Venice. In 2008, he took part in the collective exhibition "Micro-Narratives, Temptation of Small Realities" at the Museum of Modern Art in Saint-Etienne (France).
