Born in 1964 in Munich, Germany.
Demand studied at the Fine Arts in Munich and Düsseldorf. He is a sculptor whose works are presented only through photography. He builds and paints cardboard models, objects or buildings that he then photographs and later destroys. The colour photography of this work is the only remaining trace of the now virtual sculpture.
His work is on display in London, Brussels, Cologne, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam and many other cities.
